The Only Online Place to Play the Game Show Favorite

WALTHAM, Mass. - June 17, 2002- Terra Lycos (NASDAQ: TRLY), the leading global Internet network, today announced the launch of the online version of the popular game show The Price is Right™ on Lycos Gamesville. Lycos Gamesville, in conjunction with FremantleMedia, the production arm of the RTL Group owned by Bertelsmann, is the first and only site to host an online version of the game where users can play the game show favorite.

The online The Price is Right has the look and feel of the popular television show, which has been named the number one greatest game show of all time by TV Guide.

Online contestants square off against each other in Contestants Row to advance to popular pricing games, such as Plinko and Cliff Hangers. Afterward, the contestant who spins the highest on the Big Wheel without exceeding $1.00 advances to the Showcase. Contestants can win money by earning entries, based on their game performance, into both daily and weekly sweepstakes.

According to The Lycos 50, The Price is Right is one of the top five most searched for classic game shows for the first three months of 2002.
