Rips By Triumph Review 2026: How Do Triumph Rips Packs Work?

Victoria Woods
Last Updated on 04 Oct 2026
13 min read

In this Rips by Triumph review, you’ll find an app where packs priced from $1 to $1,000 hold real Pokémon and basketball cards. Odds are shown before every purchase, and each pull can be sold back, vaulted or shipped.

On top of that, I’ll cover the sign-up steps with the ID and video selfie check, along with the live chat support and Responsible Purchasing Policy. You’ll also see the minimum and daily withdrawal limits for PayPal, Venmo and Apple Pay, and how the app rates on both iPhone and Android.

    What the packs actually hold

Packs are the whole reason anyone downloads the app, so this is where I started digging.

    Basic, Silver and Gold tiers

The Rips by Triumph packs come in three tiers, Basic, Silver and Gold, which the app also groups into Standard and Premium options. What I liked right away is that every pack shows its lowest possible value and its top pull on the screen, so you know the spread before you commit to anything.

Both of those numbers climb as the tiers go up, with prices starting at $1 and going as high as $1,000 per pack. Basic packs are a nice starting point for getting a feel for the app, while Gold packs are clearly aimed at collectors chasing graded cards.

    Pokémon leads the lineup

Pokémon is by far the biggest category I came across, with packs featuring favorites like Charizard, Pikachu, Umbreon and Mewtwo. Names like Gengar, Rayquaza and Lugia show up in some packs too, which keeps the chase lists from feeling repetitive.

Basketball fans get a smaller corner of their own, mostly built around NBA cards.

    Raw or graded cards

Many packs mix raw cards with PSA graded ones, so common pulls and rarer chase cards share the same pool. Raw cards come straight out of a pack with no grading, while graded cards have been checked and scored before being sealed in a hard case.

Graded cards usually carry more value because their condition is confirmed, so I’d look at how many of them a pack includes before buying.

    Odds before every rip

The value range shows what a Rips by Triumph pack can give you, while the odds screen shows how likely each result is.

Tapping any pack brings up a full breakdown of the cards inside, split into rarity groups with a percentage next to each one. Every group also shows the value range of its cards, so a Common pull and a Grail pull are easy to tell apart at a glance. Here’s how a sample Pokémon pack looked.

    Rarity groupChance of pulling
    Common28.5%
    Uncommon31.5%
    Rare20.2%
    Epic6.6%
    Legendary9.2%
    Grail4%

The Grail group is where the big chase cards are, and at 4%, it’s the toughest one to hit, which makes those pulls feel special. Showing odds, this openly is quickly becoming the norm for card rip platforms, and it was also one of the first things I went through in my Ripit review.

The numbers change from pack to pack, too, so I got into the habit of checking them every time instead of assuming they matched the last one.

    Sell, vault or ship

Opening a pack is only the first step, as every card then waits for you to decide what happens to it. Here’s what you can do after getting a card at Rips by Triumph.

    Three choices after a pull

    • Sell it back through the Instant Buy Back option, which takes the card at 100% of its fair market value and adds that amount to your in-app balance.
    • Keep it in Triumph’s secure vault, which is handy when you’re not ready to decide yet.
    • Ship it home whenever you want to hold the card in your hands.

The vault gave me time to check a card’s value elsewhere before choosing, so I ended up using it more than I expected, much like in my GameStop Power Packs review.

    Paying and withdrawing

You can keep a balance in the app or pay for each pack as you go, using PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Visa or Mastercard. Withdrawals go through PayPal, Venmo or Apple Pay, with a $5 minimum and a $5,000 daily limit.

Verification before a withdrawal can take up to 24 hours, but after that, e-wallet withdrawals usually arrive in under 10 minutes, which is quicker than I’m used to with apps like this.

    How the app felt

There’s no website version currently available, so everything I tested happened inside the Rips by Triumph app.

The dark layout lets the colorful pack art stand out, and moving from the pack list to the buy screen takes only a couple of taps. Nothing felt cluttered, even on a smaller screen, and updates arrive often, with recent ones focused on visuals and bug fixes.

Cards reveal one at a time with a small sound and a quick vibration, which seems minor but adds a real bit of tension to every rip. Reveal speed matters a lot to me on any app of this kind, just as it did in my Tilt Rips review, and this one never kept me waiting.

You can download it from the App Store for iPhone or from Google Play for Android, and ratings are strong on both.

    Signing up and verification

Getting started at Rips by Triumph takes a few minutes, and the checks are a little stricter than at most shopping apps.

[step-by-step-list][step-by-step-list-item]Download the Rips by Triumph app from the App Store or Google Play.[/step-by-step-list-item][step-by-step-list-item]Enter your email address and a US phone number.[/step-by-step-list-item][step-by-step-list-item]Add your full name, home address and date of birth.[/step-by-step-list-item][step-by-step-list-item]Type a promo into the optional box – you’ll see it listed on the banners around this page, if one is available.[/step-by-step-list-item][step-by-step-list-item]Confirm your account through the SMS and email links.[/step-by-step-list-item][/step-by-step-list]

You need to be 18 or older to sign up. Before your first withdrawal, the app also asks for an ID check along with a short video selfie, which adds an extra step, but it’s exactly what I expect from a platform where real cards change hands every day.

    Promo codes and free packs

As usual, whenever I register on a new platform, the first thing I look for is a welcome offer. There’s currently a Rips by Triumph promo code available for new users, and it typically unlocks a free mystery pack you can claim without a deposit. Its value has shifted with promotion updates and can depend on where you sign up, but it’s mostly worth between $1 and $25.

The codes change often, but I’d take something over nothing, and compared to the non-existent Ripit promo code, it’s a good deal for starters. You can find all the latest details in the banners on this page.

What makes Rips by Triumph a legit app

Paying for cards you haven’t seen yet takes some trust, so naturally, I first checked what backs the brand.

The app complies with US laws, and it collects tax forms once yearly card sales pass $600. ID checks go through Footprint, an identity verification service that matches a photo of your ID with the short video selfie I mentioned earlier.

Furthermore, the brand follows a Responsible Purchasing Policy based on clear disclosure, as each pack has one fixed price and shows the odds and value range for every rarity tier before you buy. No purchase comes up empty, either, since every pack delivers a card of the type you paid for.

Lastly, anyone who needs a break can pause purchases by texting support or using the in-app chat, from a short timeout to a permanent block.

Getting help from the support team

As far as support goes, I had a quick and satisfying experience. Any time I reached out through live chat, I got a reply within a couple of minutes.

The email option is something I personally avoid due to longer wait times, but while waiting on one reply, I realized the FAQ section is detailed enough that it already had the answer I needed.

Why this card rip app is worth a try

After spending time with the app, I came away with a positive picture of Rips by Triumph overall. The odds are shown upfront, every card has three clear options once it appears, and the Pokémon selection gives collectors plenty to chase.

That said, every pack is still a matter of chance, so I’d treat each rip as entertainment first and set a budget before opening one.

To wrap up this Rips by Triumph review, I’d call it one of the cleaner card rip apps I’ve tried, especially for Pokémon fans who like knowing the odds before they tap. So, ready to see what’s waiting in your first pack? Hit the banners on this page to download the app and get started.
